Hi, my name is Josie. My littermates & I were born in an abandoned house in Georgia where we were not socialized at all with people. We didn't stand a chance down there, so some wonderful volunteers transported us up north. My siblings have all found homes, but I'm still waiting.  My foster family tells me that they saved the best for last (that's me!).

 

I am almost a year old and currently weigh around 35 pounds.  I won't be a big girl and will probably weigh around 45 pounds when I'm all grown up. I'm currently in a foster home with d ogs and kids. I am crate trained and housetrained. I am very shy and very scared of new people, new situations, and alot of commotion.  When I get really nervous I like to hide in my crate.  I was adopted but returned because I ran away and was loose for a while.  I need to always be kept on a leash when outside so i cannot run away again. 

 

I am looking for the perfect family out there that will be patient with me and help me to trust people.  A family who will keep me safe and secure so I do not run away again.  I will need a home that has another dog or dogs because I feel most comfortable with other dogs around.  If you think you have what I need, please fill out an application today - I would really love a home to call my own.
