This beauty spent her first year and a half with a family who had a dog and then returned her because the dog and Betsy didn't get along.  She is now in a foster home and her foster mom says that Betsy is very affectionate.  She will climb into your lap for a long cuddle and a purr fest.  She likes people and never runs or hides from them.

Since Betsy spent her first year and a half always on the defensive living with a dog, she would sometimes give a defensive swat. We feel she would do best in a home as the only pet and no young children.

If you'd like to adopt Betsy and give her a second chance at a forever home, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ,  is a primarily VOLUNTEER based, no kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high kill shelters.  Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receive a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most important an abundance of love and care until they find their forever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3.
